Carrin Company E 130 Regiment Illinois Volunteers was enrolled on the 25th day of February 1864, at Alton, and was transferred to Company G-77 Illinois Volunteers Roll of latter co this March and April 1865 reports him a private ñ absent sick since March 14 1865. Transferred from General Hospital New Orleans to New York mustered out at Chicago May 15, 1865 with remark. Reported for muster out from Grant U.S. General Hospital Willettís Point N.Y. by order of Surgeon in charge. Not born as John B. Carrin. Name does not appear on roll of Hospital Fort Gains Ala. Admitted marine Hospital New Orleans, LA March 24 1865 thence transferred April 7 1865 Admitted to Grant Hospital Willitts Point N.Y. April 15 1865. Transferred May 10 1865, Nature of sickness not stated
