William Mayberry Company G, 40th Illinois Volunteer Infantry

William Mayberry and his wife, Elizabeth, can be found in the 1860 and 1870 Wayne County, Illinois census. William was a minister before joining the 40th Illinois Vounteer Infantry and returned to that profession upon his return from the Civil War. Their daughter, Mary Elizabeth Mayberry, married George W. Draper.   Submitted by Dee Yeager
