Jacob McCammond

Company K, 92nd Illinois Infantry

At the age of 18, Jacob McCammond enlisted on February 10, 1865 in Dixon, Illinois to serve as a soldier in the Army of the United States of America. Jacob was temporarily assigned to the 65th Illinois Regiment on June 21, 1865 then later discharged on July 13, 1865 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Jacob McCammond was born in Canada in 184; later to be killed in Kiowa County, Kansas, at the age of 51 in 1899 by a friend, not because of the war.
