Andrew A. Williams Company G, 55th Illinois Infantry

Andrew A. Williams was from Bushnell, Illinois and enlisted October 18, 1861. He was wounded in the jaw at Vicksburg. He re-enlisted as a Veteran Volunteer, and was discharged for disability on August 2, 1864.   Submitted by Benjamin R. Elder, gr-gr-grandson of Andrew A. Williams
